It's supposed to do that. There's a small, very sensitive microphone in the elbow of the dirt passage coming off the back of the machine. As long as it's in contact with a dirty floor, the smallest piece of dirt going up through the hose will turn the light to red. Once all the dirt particles have been passed through, it turns back to green.

Green light kirby vacuum

The green light does not affect the performance of your vacuum. There is a small magnet in the brush roll that makes the light glow to show you the brush is spinning properly. If your light worked before you took the vacuum in for service you can look at the brush roll to see if it has been installed properly. The magnet should line up to spin at the spot where the green light is. If the brush is not installed properly or the wrong brush roll is installed the magnet will not line up with the green light.

Garage door will not stay closed - one sensor is showing a green light and the other one is showing an orange light - i have tried to adjust position with no luck

When the two sensors are completely aligned, both sensor will show green lights. Usually the green light is your sending side and the orange/red side is the receiving side. You can measure the distance from the ground on the sending side and then adjust the receiver end to the same to get you in the general ball park and then fine tune it from there.

I have a hunter with 3 wires black white green how do I wire it to a three wire cable black red white ground the fan also has a light and remote but remote is Brocken want to use it with no remote model...

Black to Black - White to White, Green to Green (copper). Put a wire nut on the red wire.

The Black is suppose to run the light (or the fan) while the Red is suppse to run the fan (or light). The White is common and the ground is ... well the ground.

If you have a light kit on the fan, you can control the light and the fan separately ... or you can run them together.

Let me know how this comes out ...

T.he light on the garage door opener does not come on when the garage door goes up or down. Why?

Either the bulb blown or not wired right when installed. should have one red wire, one black wire and a ground wire, green or copper.

Green light on power nozzle of Kirby vacuum, Model G7D

The green light is just to inform you that the brushroll is spinning. there is a magnet on the brushroll that makes the green light come on every time it rotates. also why it looks like the light flickers because the magnet only makes contact once per rotation of your brushroll. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Do i want the green light on or off on kirby upright

It has nothing to do with the green light. Green light simply indicates that brush roll is spinning. If there is no green light:
1 - belt may be broken
2 - Improperly installed nozzle
3 - wrong brush roll is installed

Properly adjust the nozzle - turn the Kirby on. Keep lowering the nozzle till it touched the carpet and you will hear change in sound. Then lower it by one more click.
