I just got my camera it is a canon powershot SD630 and i cannot take pictures outside it is all white or out of focus or has white lines through it and i havent dropped it or anything i even bought a new battery for it and it still wont work. I have played around with the settings and nothing seems to work.
What do pictures taken at night/poor light look like ?? if they are an improvment ,
your Exposure/Auto-Light/White Balance settings may be horribly configured.
Firstly I'd try Resetting the camera to default settings by using the settings menu .
>Menu >Settings >Reset default settings
This should eliminate poor settings as a suspect for the problem.
