Mirror solution can be achieved by the position of inserted paper in the machine's tray.
Reference is printing in the latter head.

Use the drawing software on the image. Most image software has a flip image.
Image viewer programs.
Photoshop > image > rotate image > flip
Paint shop Pro > Image > Flip

Look at the settings of your camera Application and look for Mirror Image and put a check on it to get the exact image captured instead of having the image as the opposite when taking pictures or recording a video.

If not Mirro Image there should be an option for flip image horozontal and flip vertical, you just need to put a check on the Flip horizontal image or Mirro Image this depends on the Brand and the application as well of the Laptop this should correct the camera settings.

Most laptop cameras are now using a different format and needs to be set up on the application to get the mirror image of the snap shot or recorder video as what you are expecting.

Panasonic Viewfinder - Mirror image:
Although I don't own a Panasonic, my Samsung and JVC camcorders have this flipped image function, so I guess most are similar in theory.
The mirror image is a function used for taking selfies, or where you want the subject to frame themselves while previewing the image on-screen.
This only affects the viewfinder screen, not the saved video or still, which remains as normal.
To correct this, you need to navigate to the 'settings' menu, exact location depending flavor of camera.
There should be an option for "self-portrait" mode or similar.
Switch this back to normal mode.
Why mirrored?
When screen is rotated 180 degrees to face subject in normal mode, they would see an inverted image, so the "selfie" function flips the graphic to compensate.

If you mean changing the image produced by your web cam to a mirror image, then this is what you should do.

Though, the process may vary as a result of what camera software you have installed.
Start your web cam.
Go to the settings.
Select camera settings.
You would see the options to flip the image horizontally. Do that to set the mirror image.
Some software might not indicate the flip option, rather, it would ask to select 'mirror image'.
Select whichever is appropriate.

That's how a DSLR camera works. When you are setting up the shot, the image through the lens is reflected by a mirror up to the viewfinder. When you snap the picture, the mirror flips out of the way so the image can be registered on the sensor and then the mirror flips back. So, for that time, there is no image in the viewfinder.

Download some free software, the "GIMP" (Graphic Image Manipulation Program) from http://www.GIMP.org and use it to "flip" your image.

I called a Canon rep and the printer does not have that option on it.
