Check all the setting correct or not and router power is on or not..

From router config,you need to set the router to broadcast its SSID..
or
changed the Channel number if it is 1.If it is 1 then change to 6...

There is no way of getting the password back however you could always reset your router to factory default settings.

1. If the Operating system is a 64 bit operating system and you try running a CD that is geared to a 32 bit operating system it will not work properly.
It is not compatible. Drivers for the device are 32 bit and your operating system is for 64 bits.

there is a usb port on the back. there is a plugin that you have to down load from Dlink to manage the disk.

No software is necessary for routers. Connect it by Ethernet cable to your PC, turn it on, open your web browser, and type in either:

• 192.168.1.1
• 192.168.1.254
• 192.168.0.4
• ..........254

You don't need any software, no. All you need to do is login to the router (usually 192.168.2.1 or 192.168.1.1 for D-link) and configure the wireless security (including the key)).
