SOURCE: Whirlpool Double oven - control panel stopped working

Atlanta...sounds like you may have a power supply problem or the panel is bad. Cut the power, open the unit up and see if there is a fuse in there or a reset. No good? Then replace the circuit board. They just, well, die sometime. Happened to my microwave. Some units may be available remanufactured. Look around on the web.

When this code appears and display is going blank too, it is always the control board. The only option is to buy a new one or get it repaired. It can be fixed quickly and reliably. www.fixyourboard.com

SOURCE: how to remove the control panel on Whirlpool double oven Model RBD305PDS14

Emge & Associates is investigating gas and electric ovens manufactured by Whirlpool, including such popular brands as Whirlpool, Jenn-Air, KitchenAid and Maytag.
The firm is investigating reports that the electronic control panel on certain models is subject to failure after a limited number of uses of the appliance’s “self-cleaning” setting. While most foods are cooked at temperatures reaching 375 degrees, the “self-cleaning” setting raises the interior oven temperature to 1,400 degrees. Due to defects in the design and or manufacturing, the electronics contained on many ranges are damaged by extremely high heat. Repairs to damaged control panels typically cost in excess of $300 per replacement.
If you have experienced failure of the control panel in your range after using the “self-cleaning” setting, you can join this investigation by contacting Emge & Associates at (800) 629-3409 or (619) 618-2974.

SOURCE: My Whirlpool oven stopped heating. The control

There is a thermal fuse mounted on the back of the oven that feeds power to both elements. This fuse has open up. The control panel gets power via a different path and still lights up.

Error E7 : F1 GMC275PDs07. Microwave works normally but will not heat. Magnetron changed out and still will not heat.

If your microwave is a 220 then reset the breaker by turning it off for 10 seconds and then back on. Then check it. Since you replaced the magnetron, the signal to the mag is interrupted. Did you replace the control panel? If so, then look to see if it is wired back in order. Does the fan operate when you open and close door? If not, then check door switch.

I Have the whirlpool Oven RBD306PDQ8 - The power went out in our neighborhood, when it came back on the clock display will not appear. We can set the clock, it stays on the panel for about 10-20 seconds...

When the power came back on, it sent a power surge to the ERC (clock assembly). Try turning the oven breaker off for 10-15 minutes, this is to reset the ERC. If the display still doesn't work, you will need to replace the ERC-Electronic Range Control.

The wire that connects the heating broke off on

You're going to have to pull the walloven and take off the back panel. And probably replace the high temp terminal on the wire. You may want to pay a pro for this. You mess up the cabinet it's your problem but a reputable service company has experience and insurance and the right equipment to remove the oven

Whirlpool oven accubake system

I have a whirlpool accubake wall oven. Half-way through baking a pie ,unknown to me, the oven went to the self-clean mode , the door locked and the pie started to burn. I tried to turn the oven off but it would not cut off. I immediately ran to the house's main power and turned off the oven breaker. I waited for a short time to let the oven cool enough to open the door and get the burned pie out, then went back to turn my breaker back on and the oven (even though in the off mode) started heating again with the bottom unit turning red again. I had to then go back and pull the power. We tried this several times trying to push the off button but the oven will not go off until we throw the breaker. Help please!

Built-in Electric Double Oven

The fan is controlled by a temperature sensitive switch. Apparently the switch is not shutting off when it should. It will have to be replaced. If you are not comfortable working around appliances, you will need to call a service technician. There is usually a set of maintenance instructions in the top of the oven. Check it out for any suggestions. Temperature switches can be purchased on line.

Oven stopped working, door stuck in lock position

Tuck, sounds like your Thermal cut out opened on the back of the oven. You will have to get at this in the back of the oven. Part number 4451442. Look it up on the net so you know what your going after. This is a common deal on built ins. Going to need some help in pulling the oven out so far, removing the back panel and changing the TCO...Catriver Post back.
