Samsung YP-U3 I have a samsung YP-U3 it work fine but when I insert it into CD player USB port to listen it can not connect. I don't know the reason because other MP3 usb work fine. Why YP-U3 mp3 don't connect in other CD player? Regards -- jesus

    I have the same problem with the device, i searched the net for firmware update to UMS for it and i;ve had no luck so far, the solution u provided has no efect:(

Go to my computer> properties>hardware > device manager >universal bus driver>right click on it> update driver>
then1 
1.yes this time only> next 2.choose advanced option>next 3don't search i"ll update from........>next4.click on show campatible> next> next 5. now it updated then restart you computer 
Then try to format your drvice sir hope this is helpfull or if problem still please type in comments

The player needs to be charged via the USB connnection on your PC. If it doesnt fit, try the USB ports on the back. If its not working/not charging, please test the MP3 player on another PC.

NEED HELP
Take out the USB from the MP3 Player. Connect it to your Computer. Go to "My Computer" and go to where it says "Portable Devices". Under where it says, "Samsung YP-U3". Double Click and Double Click "Samsung Flash Media". Double Click "Music". And put MP3 Songs, to the folder. Now it's ready to listen to it.

With the YP-u3 connected to the USB port and internet connected, start Samsung Media Studio software, you should get notification of a firmware update to download which fixed the recognition problem for me
