The language on my Canon EOS 5D Mark III is all in Japanese. Is there any way to change it to English? Thanks

Solution

1. Set the camera's power switch to <ON>.
2. Press the <MENU> button to display the menu screen.
3. Press the < > button and select the [ ] tab.
4. Turn the < > dial and select the [ ] tab.
5. Turn the < > dial to select [Language ], then press < >.
6. Turn the < > dial to select the language.

Press the MENU button. Use the main command dial to select the second wrench icon. Select the third item on the menu.

Follow the correct instructions below based on the diagram to change the language of Canon EOS 5D Mark II from Japanese to English;

1.Press the MENU button.Different tabs are displayed on top of the screen as shown below.


2.Turn the Main Dial to select the Setup Tab ( The one with two dots and a spanner) on top of the screen.
3.Under this tab Turn the Quick Control Dial to select [Language] ( the third item from the top ) and press the SET button.

4.To select the desired language use Main Dial or Quick Control Dial (The current setting is indicated in Blue) and Press the SET button.
5.The desired language is set.

With the camera turned on, press the MENU button. Use the left/right arrows to move to the Setup2 tab (tools with the number 2). The language setting is the first item on this menu. With the first item highlighted, press the SET button. You should see fifteen languages displayed on the LCD. Using the arrow keys, scroll to ENGLISH then press the SET button. Press the MENU button again to exit.
