First use "add gps" and add the original unit and the H20
use "receive from gps" to call in the original waypoint file from your sd card
use "send to gps" to save the new waypoint file to the sd card
remember that the original gps file may contain more waypoints than the H20 can hold so you may have to delete some waypoints from the file while in EasyGPS
if this is not clear enough, let me know and I will try again. I use the program all the time. I just realized I left something out. EASYgps does not like the Lowrance HDS File version so an extra step is required if you are transferring files from an HDS to an IFinder. Save your HDS waypoints as Version 3 to the SD card and EASYgps will accept them

I found that it works better to push exit three times from the map view.

There is an update for MapCreate to work with VISTA. Go to http://www.lowrance.com/en/Downloads/Product-Software-Updates/MapCreate-7-Windows-Vista-Update/ to download.
The ENHANCED LAKE MAPS are already built into MapCreate 7 so if you can get it working with VISTA with the update, you may have what you need.
MapCreate is mostly land based mapping so may not do much good on thewater.
The Enhanced lake mapes are only on certain lakes.
Go to http://www.lowrance.com/en/Products/Mapping/Enhanced-Lake-Maps/Downloads/ for a list of available lakes.
These Enhanced Lake Maps have depth contours but are not as good as Navionics, or Fishing Hot Spots, or LakeMaster charts.
Go to http://www.lowrance.com/en/Products/Mapping/ to see mapping options.
If you can get MapCreate 7 working on your computer, try it out. If you decide you need better mapping you can always get a better mapping card later.

Have you got GB Discoverer on the card? The map should appear on the Map Information list in the Setup > Map area. Double check the placement of the map card. Also, in case you have not found it yet, there's wealth of information on the Oregon Wiki here: garminoregon.wikispaces.com
