I cant receive or send Emails. Every thing works

I cant receive or send Emails. Every thing works fine But every time I click on print a message appears that says the Printer won't communicate with computer. I have done every thing the note says. Except to check the Firewall. How do I do This

Are you trying to print emails, or send and receive them?

If you are trying to print, are you able to print from other programs? If not, then it is an issue with the connection of the printer, which could be many things from a setup error in the computer, to a printer out of ink or turned off. Try shutting everything down, check your connections, then turn your printer on first, then your computer.

If you are trying to send and receive emails, more info is required. What program does it use? Did it used to work? When did it stop? Did something else happen then too, eg electrical storm? Can you still browse the internet? Have you turned your computer off and on again?

Please try to be a little more specific on what it is you are trying to do, then we might be able to help you.

What is the cost that I can't receive mails

COST? This is a very vague question. That all depends on the type and severity of the email. If you are unable to receive emails for a long time, something serious is happening and you need to contact your Internet Provider or the e-mail service you are using.

There are several things which could be affecting your email:
  • There's a problem with your email account
If you're not using it already try accessing your email online and send yourself some test messages. If these all work the issue may be with your email software or device.
  • An issue with your email software or device
If you can log into your account, but can't send or receive emails, your email server settings may have been changed, so you'll need to check these. See our step-by-step guides on the set-up process, which includes incoming & outgoing server settings.
  • A large email is being sent
Large email attachments can cause your mailbox to lock, but it will unlock itself within 20 minutes. If the problem keeps happening, try deleting any emails over 3MB.
  • Your email account is full
Log in to your online email access. Then try deleting any emails you don't need - particularly those with large attachments.

If you use a mail client (eg Outlook) and find that the mailbox on the server fills up, the client can be set to stop a copy of emails being left on the server, or reducing the amount of time they are stored. To do this in Outlook 2007 or 2010:

    1. In the Tools menu (or File tab in 2010), click Account Settings.
    2. Under Name, select the POP3 e-mail account that you want to change, and then click Change.
    3. Click More Settings.
    4. Click the Advanced tab, and then under Delivery, remove the tick from the Leave a copy of messages on the server check box.
    5. Incoming emails are being identified as spam
If you're having problems receiving some emails, they could wrongly be being tagged as spam. The sender will get an error code 550. Find further details on stopping this problem.

How do I block unwanted emails - right clicking and asking to be deleted from their list - most often does not work

To keep these emails out of your inbox, you should report them as spam. When you are viewing an email in Gmail, an icon should appear at the top of the page. It looks slightly like a stop sign with an exclamation point on it.

Clicking the button should report the mail as spam and you should no longer receive them.

Hope that helps!

Trouble sending emails from yahoo account using itouch

Strange question - but if you hit "reply" does it work? My daughter had the same problem with her cell phone when texting people. They never got the text, but if she hit "reply" it worked. I figured it out by typing in the actual phone number (in your case the e-mail address). Some how it worked, even though the persons name was already associated with the number. Now everything works fine! Not sure if it helps, but give it a try!

Unable to reply, forward or compose new emails on my yahoo account, will not load emails properly. unable to access any tool functions along top yahoo page (ie check mail, new, what's new, mail classic

Hello laurenloscia

alot of the times, just going into internet options and setting everything to default, and clearing the cookies and files works about 50% of the time.

This is possibly a yahoo issue. If you use yahoo thru ATT, you can call ATT for support and they will escalate any valid issues to yahoo for you.

Their phone number is 1-877-722-3755

ask for tech support at the prompt

they can remote on your computer to see if it is a java issue or whatever

if they can replicate it on their computer also, they will create a yahoo trouble ticket and give you thier member service number. Yahoo resolves 85% of these within 48 hrs.

If they cant replicate it, then they will consider it a pc issue and refer you to connect tech or to best buy's geek squad.

Personally, I would also try sending emails in safemode, If you can do it in safemode, and not in reg mode, it is definately PC related.

To get to safemode, turn your computer off and when you turn it back on, tap the F8 button until you get an advanced screen. Pick safemode with networking with the arrow keys. Log in, click yes when it tells you you're running in safemode, and then when your on your desktop, which will look alot differnt, black background with big icons, click on internet explorer and go to mail.yahoo.com and see if it works now, if it does, like i said, its pc related. If it still cant, call ATT's support if you have thier DSL or U-Verse
