Battery less work

Sir my question is that my alaptop is compaq v6000 presario it battery maimum works 3 hours and my all others friends and my cousin has alaptop of dell and sony vaio which works 8 to 12 hours y my alaptop battery work less

They might be having a 8-Cell Battery Pack. a standard 3-cell battery have a max time of around 2.5-3 hours of uptime, while a 8-cell battery pack have an uptime of 8 hours approx.
you can replace your existing battery pack with an 8-cell battery pack, just visit the nearest HP Centre for more Help.
Beware: 8-Cell battery Pack is much mre expensive than 3-Cell....!!

Try connecting to an external screen if you get a picture the invertor needs replacing its at the bottom of the screen

My power supply for my Presario V6000 died due to broken wires. The battery powered the computer until it died. Now, the new adapter will not power the computer.

This is a common eevnt the battery get so flat that the adapter will not charge it quickly.. You need to leave it totally alone for at least 8 - 12 hours... To see if the adapter actually works and PC is good, take OUT the battery, and plug IN the PSU, the PC will work, sans battery just on PSU. If OK, then charge up as related. It will do it after a ling time.. Sometimes batteries go so flat they are ruined, sa a new one may have to be gotten IF it does NOT charge up.

Hi. i have a compaq presario v6000 series laptop. The battery does not charge more than 27%. I dont know whats the problem. The battery is Ok, used it on a friends laptop and it charged completely and work...

there is a problem with your laptop get it checked at the service centre also take the charger with you and get it checked too.

Blank screen

Hey Boots_Calara,

In most of hp/compaq dv6000 series that i have worked on have bad ram , easiest way is taking out the ram and replace it. Or if you have a friend that has a hp or compaq laptop switch the ram and try boot it with there ram. Try it before you replace the bad ram.

Wireless problem

This is generally cause by a driver glitch. Go into the device manager and unistall the wireless drivers, then reboot. It will find the wireless hardware and reinstall the drivers.
