Sony Bravia KDL V26A12U. Previously when pressing the power button on the side of the TV there would be a relay type click and the TV would come on with a green power light. Now there is no relay type click, the green light come on with no picture. If I power off at the plug and turn back on the relay clicks without pressing the power button, the green light comes on but still no picture. Please help.

There should be some fault with its main power supply regulator board circuit. Contact any service technician.

Try pressing the TV/Video button. The problem could be that the TV is set to an input with no source.

Most likely this is caused by a defective main board. Changing the main board will fix the issue about 95% of the time.

To be absolutely sure, the voltages need to be checked on the power supply. If they are not the values listed in the service manual, then you should replace the power supply instead (accounts for the other 5% of the time).

I have the same problem. since I have 3 of these TV's, I switched boards around, and I came to the conclution that is the power board. I will try to repair it, and I'll let you know the component that is bad. Gaston

How to stop sony demo mode

Turn on your Sony Bravia

Press and hold the Up Arrow button on the remote control

Press the Power

button on the TV while still holding down the Up Arrow button. The TV will turn off and then turn itself back on.

Release the Up Arrow button. Once the TV turns itself back on, it will restore your Sony Bravia to its factory settings.

I have a sony 52 inch bravia kdl-3000 and there is a line on the left side from top to bottom. if its the panel that needs to be replaced what would it cost.

Sony panels run around $1,500.00 and up. Go to Face Book and type in (I Have a Defective SONY TV.) Click on LIke So you can Post Your Problem. Their you can get a replacement TV From SONY !!!! If it turns out that you do have a Bad Display Panel.

Sony Bravia KDL-46S4100, No Picture No sound

I have a sony bravia kdl 40v 5100 for less than two years and i did not purchased an extended warranty and now my tv is down.
I have no picture, no sound just a black screen when i turn the power on, the power (green) light is lite up and the tv turns off by itself for like less than 30 seconds. I have tried to press as many buttons on the remote control and on the side of the TV to get any message but nothing seem to happen. Any suggestions and solutions? Thanks
