My kelvinator cyclic 400 fridge/ freezer seems to keep freezer cold but the fridge isn't as cold as it should be, even when turned to coldest temperature
Easy fix, take everything out of the freezer.Remove the panel at the back of the freezer inside. You need to take off the little plastic caps that cover the screws. Remove the temp control nob. Un screw and unplug wires. Get a squirty bottle and defrost the freezer unit. After you have done this. You have to drain the extra water that has filled up on top of the compressor. Put the control unit and back panel of the freezer back together. Turn the temp control to mid/warmer setting and fridge temp control to mid. All fixed.I almost went and bought a new fridge. Hope this works as well as it did for me!
Try defrosting the fridge. Check the cold plate at the back of the food compartment once the fridge has been defrosted and turned back on again. The cold plate in the freezer (around the walls) will be cold to touch as will the cold plate at the back of the fridge,
