attage ,
follow the mother board thorroly .try to look where the audo chip fited .write the name of the chip company.such as AD or REALTECK or ESS .It generraly fit top left corner of mother board .Write the company .and down load driver for audio.

Just example
look a m boad picture hare audio chip is realteck
so you should download the realteck driver

Uninstall that HD driver. Go to realtek.com. Download realtek driver software (Not HD driver). Ur problem will solve.

Yes go to Hp solutions and down load new audio realteck drivers for windows 7. Also update your realteck HD Audio manager software.
