My Canon IP-90 won't stay on...when I push the power button the LED flashes twice then turns off...it is plugged in, the power adapter is working fine (the adapter from my other IP-90 was tried too), and the battery is fully charged...any ideas?
SOURCE: Canon ip4000 flashing 12 times
For 11 orange flashes (Canon doesn't list 12) Canon says its an automatic print head alignment error: -make sure ink tanks are snapped in correctly http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=SuprtKnowledgeBaseAct&fcategoryid=184&modelid=10438 -place 8.5 x 11 paper in the automatic sheet feeder, anything smaller will cause this error. -Remove the printer from strong light; apparently a sensor in the paper output slot can be affected. -Also you said you replaced all the cartridges with new ones, were the new from HP? If not I would definitely try replacing them all.

My cannon printer no longer responds to any commands. I get 4 yellow blinking lights and then 1 green blinker.
SOURCE: my Canon Pixma IP90 will not print. It pushes the paper
you going to take printer in for repair.or get a new one
SOURCE: Canon iP90 error 5C00
5C00 is a purge unit error, thats the cleaning unit on the right where the printhead parks. Look inside with a flashlight, if nothing is blocking it's operation, you willl need a new print engine, qm2-2020-000 around $150.00
SOURCE: why flash by 5 times the orange led?
Probably your waste ink counter should be cleaned or replaced before resetting but usually you can get away with resetting once.
1. Start with printer OFF
2. Hold down RESUME and then hold down POWER
3. Release RESUME
4. press RESUME twice, then release POWER
5. let green light blink until printhead has finished moving.
6. Select functions below with RESUME, execute with POWER
0 presses - green light - Test Print (exit service for i960)
1 press - orange light - EEPROM info print
2 presses - green light - EEPROM initialise
3 presses - orange light - reset waste ink counter.
This also applies to the i550, i560, i950, i960
Good Luck, I hope this helps?!
