Your product sucks....can't figure out belt system! Not a genius, just a grass cutter! Please make your future products easier to repair. I think this is my last husqvarna mower.

Husquavrna Lt1536 not cutting

Remove belt tension and test the tension pulley arm (55) rotates freely and spring (148) is in place. See attachment.

Husqvarna (USA) lists the belt as discontinued and no substitute. I find the belt should be 92.5" in. If measurement is questionable then take the belt with you to a local supplier and compare lenth of old belt to a new belt of known length 92.5".

You may have a connecting rod coming loose from the crank shaft. If this is the case and you continue to run it you risk breaking the connecting rod and potentially doing a lot of damage to the engine.

My ride on mower is not cutting the grass as the belt keeps on breaking after doing one strip of the garden iv bought 3 new belts in the space of 4 days it seems to only wear in one side then stretch and...

Have the pulleys checked for worn bearings and improper alignment which can cause this to happen Also the cheaper belts do break when cutting wet grass. Example.... My John Deeres belt cost $75 for a new factory one. A generic Goodyear belt runs $15. Guess what happens when I cut wet grass witha Goodyear belt? Yes it flies off. The Deere belt will stay on for it is made with a protective rubberized coating incased in fabric. If you are using a inexspensive belt you will get a lot of grief from it

Mower blades belt keeps breaking

Did you get a manufacturers belt? sometimes belts that look the same don't work. My belts kept breaking because the pulleys were dirty with grit, dirt, and grass. Hope this helps.

Belt won't stay on the pulley

These belts are really sensitive. Try messing around with it. Making srue that the belt isnt coming off the big tub pully. You tub pully isnt loose is it. Make sure the bolt that hold the pully onto the tub is tight on. Make sure the pully isnt loose. Inspect it for any small craks where that boltt tightens up. If the pully check out ok. Check the small motor pully as well. Make sure that isnt loose or anything. Pull on it if if its loose then thats you problem.. Inspect both pullys good. I would assume belt is in good shape right? If both pullys check out ok, then i would try to get the belt on and just mess around with it, spin the pully and if you se the belt starting to slip off adjust it as you keep spinning the pully....hope this helps

Cub Cadet mowing drive belt often breaks or jumps the pulley

sounds like possibly burrs on pully, or pully depth is incorrect, causing belt to jump.

How do you tighten PTO belt?

If the belt is loose it probably needs replaced or has jumped out of one of the pulley or belt guards allowing it to be sloppy. Belts get stretched in many different ways, tall grass, grass getting in the pulley, or they just plain stretch. First though, check to be sure the belt hasn't jumped out of it's normal runway.

Lots of smoke when I engaged stuck blades - now runs roughly

Most likely what you did was burn one or more spots on the belt. When the blades and belt stop turning, like in tall grass, the engine doesn't stop and will burn flat spots on the belt at the engine pulley. Every time the flat spot hits a pulley, it will jump and can set up a bad vibration. Run your hand around the sides of the belt or take it off and you will feel or see the thin spot(s) on it. Replace belt.
