  • guest0909 May 20, 2009

It seems my nokia phone did not come with control for talk volume. I cannot press right and left to have volume go up and down. While on a call, to the right is the message, left is the calendar, up is camera and down is my contacts. I could hardly hear people but then I got used to this and now they can hardly hear me. I dont see anything for voulme in settings, except for ringer volume and this doesnt help while on my calls. What can I do? I changed my phone's name in my bluetooth and it wont reset. But this volume thing is the same problem that I see other different types of nokia users with and their phones all look basically a bit similar to mine. Can any one fix this?

When in a call you should be able to increase by pressing the button on the side of the phone or the up / down scroll buttons on the keypad.

I have the cheapest Nokia phone. And the way I got the volume up very hight was as some have already said, while you are in a call, press the left scroll arrow, then you will see on the screen the volume level gauge. Mine was at the lowest level. Then I pressed the right arrow button and kept pressing it until I got it to the highest level. Remember it is the left and right arrow buttons, not the up and down ones! Hope this helps.

No one answered the question... so I will... I think you hit the right and left scroll buttons to adjust the volume during a call... right increases, and left decreases.

I have nokia 6600s it's good but only the problem is music or ringing volume is very slow (in the sound setting the volume is full), i already checked from nokia expert and he reply me there is no problem in phone speaker, can someone help me how to increase the phone sound. Thanks in advance.

You can use the side rocker switch DURING a call to up the volume of the incoming speaker. If you are not making a call the rocker switch only ups the speaker for the ring tone.

NOKIA 3315 sound problem (poor sound quality). Please Help!

Poor sound and quality: If you hear buzzing sounds during conversations or either during sound alerts, bring it to the nearest repair shop for replacment of speakers. However, if you only mean that you had a hard time listening to a call because of low volume, then do the following:
1. during the conversation, press the UP button, then, you will see the volume bar to appear. Keep pressing it until you reach the desired volume. When your done, just stop pressing or tapping and it will automatically return to call menu.
Enjoy Nokia 3315.

I can`t listen the radio station

Hi,could be low volume level. You can increase it with the button on the side.If no joy try use other earpiece,if nothing again then there's a device fault. You can try reflash firmware using Nokia PC Suite-Firmware updater. If after that not working then go to Nokia centre,if under warranty repair is free of charge.

Rate me if helped.Thanks.
