Question about Samsung HCM553W 55" Rear Projection Television
If you have access to the color canyons then you can see one of the three is not lighting. (RED). So there is a process to know if the tube is totally inoperative or it can be saved. This process consist of trying to find the High voltage and second the video driver signal. A process difficult to do specially managing the high voltage who is really risky. be really careful to know to manage this area, a stroke can happen if you are not sure
The second area you mean divergence in reality is convergence. This area can be adjusted or repaired when three tubes can work, so go ahead with the diagnosis of the tube. or ask for a estimate in a workshop.
