I have a brand new Kitchenaid Artisan, which works perfectly apart from one thing; it doesn't appear to output hot water probably. It does output steam and a lot of it, which eventually will turn into water, but is it true, that I have to put it on max steam and press the button to get a decent amount of hot water for my tea? Thank you!

If it is a 5KES100 model then yes that's how you do it, you get your hot water from the steam boiler so the steam needs to be released before the water can come through. Turn the tap wide open and press and hold the steamer pump button. The rush of steam on full open is short lived.

SOURCE: Kitchenaid Espresso maker no longer dispenses hot water from frother

by frother you mean it puts out steam ? if yes then I need to know how long you hold down the button and have you checked the hose in back to see if it has cracks or is kinked?

SOURCE: trying to ventilate and hot water not flushing through on button 26

Before you press water button to vent you need to restore to factory settings.

First press menu (far right button) then toggle to restore factory settings (using far left button), press menu button then far right again until yes comes up, then press menu button. Press esc button (3rd from left), machine should now be back to normal. Then press water button (3rd from right) and turn steam knob to vent until free water is coming through.

This is the only way I could get mine to work!

Your thermostat has failed. The middle button is the pump. The bottom button is for the steam mode. If you are getting steam instead of hot water when using the pump, then the boiler is way too hot. Either adjust the thermostat or try descaling the boiler.

KitchenAid Artisan mixer accessory port not turning

You probably just need a new Shear Pin. This is just a small steel pin like a nail that goes through the gear and the drive shaft. If the strain on the final drive exceeds specs, the pin shears through and thereby saves damage to the gears and motor.

This is one of the Shear Pins. They just call it 'pin, retaining'.

I have a brand new kitchenaid artisan mixer that i have only used once. I cannot move the speed control lever at all.

Take it back, no point voiding your warranty pulling it apart. You do know you need to put a bit of downwards pressure on that knob when moving it forward and back ??

I have a Kitchenaid Artisan stand mixer and the head is loose. When in the down, locked position, I can move it up and down by probably an inch. I've been into shops and tried to do the same with

If you have also tightened up the screw that you can see from the front in the middle where the hinge pivots when head us up then that's where your problem is. That is the head height adjustment and is to set the flat paddle to just clear the bowl when the head is down.

My kitchenaid artisan coffee machine not enough water

if you have water out brewing without handle with coffee, than you check this 3 things:
  1. how fine is grinded the coffe, is it too fine for your machine?
  2. does pump make enough pressure to brew your coffee(you can measure if you attach an gauge to handle or steam pipe.
  3. by any chance your boiler security valve opens too soon and dont let pump to get the needed pressure. (perfect pressure is from 7 to 9 bar)
