INK PROBLEM
Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent inkdrying out and blocking the print head nozzles.
If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages,then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive.
It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer thanreplace the print head.

I have forgotten how to move the ink cartridges into a position where they can be changed.
Turn on the printer. Open the top of the printer to expose the ink cartridge compartment. Hit the "Stop" button. This will cause the printer head to move so that one of the two ink cartridges move above the "No Ink" icon. Hit the "Stop" button again. It will move the other ink cartridge above the "No Ink" icon if it needs to be replaced. The printer head will move to the original position to the right.

There's often a piece of tape over the business end of the cartridge...maybe you've forgotten to remove this tape before fitting. Worth checking as easily overlooked! Regards, Nicam49

You ve not mentioned which model of printer you are using, but in almost every printer if you open the top cover ink cartridges stop at a convinient place where they can be replaced. Alternatively you can shut down your printer and then try. Hope it helps
