Problem with Airport Extreme connecting Cannon Printer. WPS button?

The passphrase is the password your router needs to connect the printer to the router. If your printer has a WPS connection ability, you can push the WPS button on your router and it should complete the connection without the need for any input from you.

Open the settings menu on the printer. For the network settings enter the connection parameters. If the printer has WPS you can skip the settings and use WPS to connect.

there is no WPS button....
This is not really an apple question. You would need to login to your router and disable WPS. Then you would just get standard WPA/WPA2 authentication setup. In Apple devices WPS isn't used very much because neither OS X nor iOS support it. Airport Utiltiy 6.x allows to add WPS printers that way (with either the button or the PIN method) but that's about as far as support goes.

wps button for printer are in the printer wifiu setup go to setup menu and serach for wifi routers once u find the router try pressing the wifi button on the router within 30 seconds

OK, do you have the latest version of Apple's Airport Utility: Version 5.4.1 (541.9) ?
If you don't, get it... it's got an excellent interface that will walk you through bridging two wireless routers together.
Once you get your hands on it, you will need to choose which airport will be the primary and which will be the secondary. Ideally, pick the one connected to the highest speed and most reliable internet access.
Connect to the secondary airport and configure it as bridge to the primary, the Airport Utility will walk you through it step by step.

go to cannon website and download new drivers for windows 7. Had the same problem and this fixed it right up

MAC address filtering is used to prevent unauthorised people getting access to your wireless network. you need to get into the Airport Extreme configuration using Internet Explorer or any other browser, then select wireless setup then MAC address filtering. You need to turn off MAC address filtering.
Check your manual on how to configure your Airport Extreme.
