What is the solutions about 32' RCA TV that cuts it self off does not stay in volume goes up and down Please

There is little to No info on this TV. I would say, the signal board is the culprit. You may also call this the main board. Either way, it is the board containing the RF, RCA, and HDMI connections . Thanks for asking me. Matt of Martins TV.

Do you have a remote for this TV nearby? If so you may want to check that it is not faulty and throwing frequencies. Try changing its batteries or taking them out all together and see if it still happens on its own.

Hello Most RCA and GE TV sets use a four digit code to control the v-chip. The code reset procedure is different depending on the model. Try each method until you find one that works

1. Hold down MENU on the remote and VOLUME DOWN on the TV it's self at the same time for at least 4 seconds. The set won't say so, but the lock will be unlocked
2. Hold down the 0 on the remote and the VOLUME DOWN buttons on the TV its self at the same time for at least 4 seconds. The set won't say so, but the lock will be unlocked
3. Hold down the MENU button on the front of the TV and the TV button on the remote at the same time for at least 4 seconds
4. Hold down GO BACK on the remote and MENU on the front of the TV at the same time for at least 4 seconds.

Depending on the model, one of the methods should unlock the V-chip. Now, if desired, you can change the settings on the V-chip by going to the MENU and going to PARENTAL CONTROLS, or on some sets, going to MENU and then going to TV SETUP, then to V-CHIP SET.

stuck tact switch is most likely the cause or the become leaky and conduct we change a great amount of them on those sets

Check the remote and the TV for a stuck volume control button.

Just recently, I was told how to get another tv.
You find a good TV service centre and ask them to fix it. If they cant you take the work order from your tv sc and call 1-877-297-8391.
You will get yourself a tv

if you have back ground of tv repair, remove back cover but you need tools and tester, check heater line from crt ckt board going to horizontal section.

maybe defective speaker or audio output ic or shorted capacitor within audio circuit

Hi the volume is just a big fuzzy sound. You can listen to anything. Mute button does work and volume adjustment does work. No Sound at all other than fuzzy sound.
