Kenmore washer model 110 82781800 won't cylce, just hear timer ticking

If the motor is going thru cycles and the agitator doesn't move, than it means the drive link snapped. cheap repair. it was made to protect the motor and trans. Read the manual before doing this. it will show you how to do it easily. iv'e done mine around 4 times. my wife keeps jamming too many clothes into the thing.
good luck

Agator not spinning

There is no belt on that unit. It is a direct drive machine. When the unit goes into the wash cycle, does the motor run but it does not agitate?

Hi, I have a WA75T65GW1 7.5kg top load washer. I run a favourites program with cold water cycle, auto level and fast spin. The cycle is getting stuck all the time between rinse and spin cycle, bowl is...

This problem will often occur with a light load of clothes. The beeping is usually the unbalanced load alarm. Often, redistributing the clothes around the agitator and moving the agitator manually up and down and side to side to center it again will fix the problem. You may need to advance a new cycle to where it spins out to empty the washer and run the laundry again.

After the spin cycle runs the clothes are still soaking wet

I had that problem at one time with my old washer and what it ended up being was the Washer Dog Agitators were broken and causing the it to slip and not spin correctly. I would try checking the Dog Agitators.
Here's A picture of a typical top-load washer breakdown to show you where they are located --->Here<---
I hope this helps. If that is the problem I bought mine at Sears for about $8, normally in stock item.

KENMORE ELITE TOP LOAD

Washer stops, won't fill, rinse or agitate

• Check the following:
Is the power cord plugged into a grounded 3 prong outlet?
Is the indicator on the Cycle Control knob properly lined up
with a cycle? Turn the Cycle Control knob to the right slightly
and pull to start.
Are the water inlet valve screens clogged?
Are both the hot and cold water faucets turned on?
Is the water inlet hose kinked?

• Does the water level seem too low, or does the washer
appear to not fill completely? The top of the agitator is
much higher than the highest water level. This is normal and
necessary for clothes to move freely.
• Has a fuse blown or is the circuit breaker open? If problem
continues, call an electrician.
• Are you using an extension cord? Do not use an extension
cord.
• Is the washer in a normal pause in the cycle? The washer
pauses for about 2 minutes during certain cycles. Allow the
cycle to continue. Some cycles feature periods of agitation
and soak.
• Is the washer overloaded? Wash smaller loads.
• Is the lid open? The lid must be closed during operation.
Washer will not agitate or spin with the lid open.

Washer fills and spins but does not agitate

Im sorry to say, it sounds like the transmission in the washer may have gone out, the unit it self sits at the bottem of the main agitator shaft under the the tub, you may be able to have this replaced, but shop around for the right price.

Rinse cycle spinning... clothes still soaked

It sounds like your washer is not going through it's neutral drain. After agitation, your washer should pause and drain for around 90 seconds to pump out the water before spin. Check this out by starting a wash with a small screw driver holding the lid switch down. This will allow you to observe whether or not it's going through it's neutral drain. If not, it's a transmission problem. The trans is covered under warranty for 5 years. You may also want to check the pump to see if it's gunked up. Catriver..post back.
