I am facing a problem my computer is shown an error code 2000-0142 and also boot mgr error need ur help

This error code represents a failed hard drive. It will need to be replaced. You can order a hard drive from the Dell Spare Parts Department by calling 1-877-717-3355 in the US. You can also go to you local computer shop to purchase a hard drive.

Hard drive is failing. Reseat hard drive cables. If it does not work, have to replace hard drive. probably damage from overheating or powersurges.

The error code you have there means that the Drive Self Test failed. You can try to power down computer, disconnect and reconnect hard drive from the system
board. Run the diagnostics , if no error occurs then it's a cable/connector issue, if it failed with the same error, replace you hard drive,

That error is normally a bad hard drive. Replacement is fairly easy and not to expensive, but you will have to reinstall a Operating System to the new drive.
