Any suggestions I just bought moultrie panoramic 150 and after putting in batteries and sd card I turned to ON position and cannot get past security code it is all zeros? HELP
Sorry this is so late, I just figured out my unit. If you can't get past the security code, you have a bad memory card, or one that is un-formatted. Stick the memory card it in a laptop, windows will look for the card, and if bad sectors are present it will ask permission to repair bad sectors. Also, once this is done, format the card only in a laptop, not the camera. Also, in any case, never use a card larger than 32Mb! If your unit freezes up for any reason, reformat the cardSorry this is so late, I just figured out my unit. Question appears to be from some months ago, but Moultrie web site shown here suggests copying photos to a computer if possible directly without using the camera itself. Then it suggests reformatting the SD Card itself.
For all day time lapse, What you need is 'Plot Stalker ' Software.
Now the page for your cam shows this as available for your cam BUT when you click the page, your model isnt listed, I suggest trying a version for a camera mosel similar to yours OR use the Website to Contact them about this.
Go here for a start on 'Plot Stalker'
Turn camera off, remove battery's and sd card. With everything out turn it to the on position for about 2-3. After 2-3 minutes put batterys back in while on the on position. Once he says no card or no memory turn the camera off put sd card back in and test the camera.
Turn the camera on, hit the mode button it will show time and date hit the down arrow key when it says panro mode hit enter then use the up arrow keys to single zone then hit enter. Then hit the down arrow key again to go to different settings. If still need help call Moultire with equipment number to call 8006533334 option 1 and 1 for a live person
Just to let you I had Moultire m-80 when I used a pny sd card it ruined my camera. They were kind enough to replace it for me. I just use what they recommended do not have any more problems. I only delete pic on my computer and not digital camera. Try doing a hard reset take everything out turn to the on position for about 2-3 minutes after 3 min put brand new battery's in it while on the on position should say no card at this time. If doesn't turn camera off put sandisk sdhc card in it. Test camera again if still not working Moultire will help you I have talked them great customer service.
Have you tried a hard reset? If not turn camera off and take out sd card. With everything out turn it to the on position for about 2-3 minutes. Then put battery's back while on the on position it should say no card once it says that turn off camera. Put Sandisk sdhc card not micro SD card then turn it on test camera in the dark and view them on a windows or a Moultire viewer 4.3.
HARD RESET TAKE OUT BATTERIES SD CARD PUSH THE ON OFF BUTTON FOR ABOUT 5 SECONDS LEFT EVERYTHING OUT FOR 2-5 MINUTES. THEN PUT THE BATTERY BACK IN TURN THE CAMERA ON IT SHOULD SAY NO CARD. THEN TURN IT OFF THEN PUT THE SD CARD BACK AND TRY IT IN THE DARK AREA TO SEE IF THE FLASH WILL GO OFF. IF THAT DOESN'T WORK WILL NEED TO SEND IT IN FOR REPAIRS.
HARD RESET TAKE OUT BATTERIES AND SD CARD, TURN IT TO THE ON POSITION FOR ABOUT 2-3 MINUTES WITH NOTHING IN IT. AFTER 2-3 MIN PUT BATTERIES BACK IN WHILE WITH THE ON POSITION IT SHOULD SAY NO CARD. ONCE IT SAYS THAT TURN OFF THE CAMERA PUT THE SD CARD BACK IN TURN THE CAMERA BACK ON AND TEST IN THE DARK. IF THAT DOESN'T WORK SEND IT IN FOR REPAIRS TO MOULTRIE.
Look at the memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.
