Xerox printers have known issues with the rollers. You may want to look into getting some new rollers, they're not that expensive. I think with this model there's one in the tray, and one up above where the paper enters the printer.

That normally is caused by a dirty maintenance kit. Often times they dry out and do not put enough lubricant on the drum, I would start with a new mainteanace lit., you may also have a bad wiper blade, although thats less likely.

Are the paper tray settings correct? If you have the tray mis adjusted, such as the tray thinks it has 14 inch paper in it and it has 11 inch, it will just shut down like that.
Make sure the settings are correct on the computer and the printer.
Also, its unlikely but the latch for the load springs in the fuser may be unlatched, but you shold NOT be able to close the covers like that.

If you can address the printer through CentreWare then your halfway there. Is now possible to print a test print via CentreWare if that works look at your p.c, driver setup.
