I don't know this specific product but if it is designed to run with the fan, it will overheat if the fan stops and shut down. Often, the shut down is by a thermal cutout, so just wait for it to cool dow.. You may have to remove power.
The random shutdown and the shutdown at startup is a classic indication of overheating. It's a safety measure built-in so you don't fry it. You need to look at your fan(s) and see if they're running. Get a cooling pad as well. If you can, cool it down enough so that you can get into the diagnostics in BIOS and see what temps you're running at (keep it cool and then remove the cooling device and see if the heat levels rise).
