Need to change language on hp pavilion dv4-1275mx laptop from english to spanish.

Hi,
go to control panel, regional languages, languages and keyboards,

Select spanish, put it to the top, save it, your done.

Select the option to put the language bar on the desktop,
then you can switch between languages,

    Hi,

    Sorry for my confusion, I should of explained.



    This method does change your language in a document to spanish. I do it regularly. it works.



    If you want the whole system to be spanish



    IE: all your dialog boxes to be in spanish too,

    you have to get the Language pack on the system to change these.

    This is called a I.M.E.

    Input Method Editor.



    This will change all items to spanish for you.

You need to make two changes:-

Go to Control Panel

1. Pick the Language Icon and change the language to English

2. Pick the Keyboard Icon and change it to Spanish Keyboard.

Some how don't know how but I have put Spanish spelled language on my laptop, can't read now HELP!!!!
control panel

in catagory mode

look for the globe and the clock (3rd down on the right)

under that heading are 2 sub options in blue

its the second one (aka change display language)

that will get you to the screen where you can change it back to english

p.s. the EN thing in the corner is just the keyboard language

How do i change the language from spanish to english on a hp pavillon dv6000
Go into the Control Panel and look for Clock,Language and Regional settings. You should be able to do it from there. I assume that the version of Windows is either Vista or Win7.

Doesn't you buy you hp pavilion dv7 at your location,Open the Control Dashboard from the setting option,then you will find a location and language setting icon?¼Œthen you can change it.Wish you can do it! If you still can't change it,ask a friend beside your,i think he must can help you.

My hp bios language is in Spanish. how do i change
Navigate through the menus and sub-menus.

If you cannot read anything on a sub-menu, press ESC to return to the "main" menu.

One of the menus will do it ("lingua" ??? "habla" ???)

Don't forget that from www.google.ca you can select "language tools", and type some words, and choose to translate those words from Spanish to English, on another computer placed beside your HP computer.

Changing an english computer over to spanish
to change your operateing system language you need to get the windows in that language. There are many difrent versions of windows in difrent languages.

If I want my xp to be in finnish I have to get my hands on a CD which is in finnish. IF I want english I need a english version of the cd.

You will need a spanish xp setup cd.

also it may be possible to convert xp into another language. with some
Windows XP Multilingual User Interface (MUI)

I hear it costs money and I haven't used or tryed it.
