I loss my sound driver .. i want it fast any my pc is "intelR) pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.40GHz 2.39 GHz,496MB of RAM " so any body can give me it.

Sound driver is a thing that is related to motherboard not cpu if you post cpu name no one can help you.

just post the motherboard name and you can get your drivers.

Playback of sound

There are internal crystals on the sound card that determine frequency.

It's possible that it is "vibrating at a higher frequency can multiplying the speed...

Try a standard MP3 to see if this applies to all sounds....

Check your CPU clock rate to make sure that it hasn't been adjusted (To soup up the PC speed)

Try an alternate sound card if one is available.
