Press the TIME/SET button
Press the TIME/SET button again
Press the CHANGE button until the correct day is announced
Press the TIME/SET button
Press the CHANGE button until the correct hour is announced
Press the TIME/SET button
Press the CHANGE button until the correct minute is announced
Press the TIME/SET button
Press the CHANGE button until the correct year is announced
Press the TIME/SET button to finish and the current clock setting will be announced

You can hold the CHANGE button down when setting the minutes or year to increment in steps of 10. Following is a link where you can download the manual.

Time on phone keeps changing and doesn't stay when I put the correct tome in...which I shouldn't to do right....its suppose to be automatic but its constantly giving me the wrong time...help please

Your secondary battery located inside your unit which is for correct time display maybe drained. I have the same problem with my phone. After I had it replaced by a technician, my phone clock display is now working nomal. Another option if you don't want your secondary battery replaced is setting your phone to automatically detect your network's time. Go to settings, look for time and date settings and locate the automatically update time or something like that. Everytime you turn on your phone, it should automatically detect and display a correct time.

He time on my motorola shows 16:10. How do I correct The Time please?

Most Motorola phones have a feature of "auto-adjustment" for correcting time. If this feature is enabled then your phone will not show the option to set the time manually. In order to correct the time manually you need to disable the "auto adjustment" feature. After disabling this manual adjustment settings will automatically come.
Hope this will help....cheers:)

HOW DO YOU SET THE DATE AND TIME?

It should be in 'settings' on your cell phone menu. Search around your phone. It could also be in 'organizer'. On my old one, it was in 'organizer', and once I went there, there was a 'set date and time' button. Here is the answer from the Vtech website: "Make sure the answering system is on. Press [Time/Set]. The system will announce the current clock setting, then announce "to set date and time, Press Time/Set". Press [Time/Set]. Press [Change] until the system announces the correct day, then press [Time/Set]. Press [Change] until the system announces the correct hour, then press [Time/Set]. Press [Change] until lthe system announces the correct minutes, then press [Time/set]. The system announces the current clock setting. Note: You can press and hold [Change] to advance the mninutes in increments of ten. "

Time display

Check the network time settings. If the phone time is "Set by network" maybe the network time servers are messed up. Set the time on the phone manually and see if the problem is fixed. If the phone is already set manually see if setting it to Set by network will force it to keep correct time, but the internal clock should be more stable than that. You may need to get a replacement if these tricks don't work.
