My driver wont recognize my phone - Samsung SCH-a650

check that the driver for the phone is still installed in the lap top
check for compatibility as any upgrades to the os in the laptop may have stopped the driver for the phone

It looks like that is not recognizing your phone, you can try downloading and installing the right driver through the following link: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads
One you get there, click on Cell Phones under Mobile
and it should open the following window

Select your product and continue with the process, download the right driver for your phone, install it also I recommend to restart your pc and restart phone, it should work. Good luck!

so thats your problem = need drivers.Or maybe wrong cable? Try installing drivers without the phone connected,or possibly anything else.

your e370 does connect via blue tooth,i know i do it,maybe reinstall your blue tooth sofware on your pc, or it could be a port conflict in your pc,but the problem is with the pc,not the phone

Uninstall all of the Samsung software and drivers in the Add/Remove programs. I have the same phone and here is what I did.

Click on Software and you'll have to agree to the terms that pop up. You can then download the updated drivers and PC Studio for your phone. The virus probably corrupted the Samsung drivers and that's why your phone is no longer recognized.

Have you tried it in a PC running XP? You don't need a driver for XP, but these KA08's don't like Vista.

This generic usb driver should get Bitpim to recognize yo' phone...keep in mind that phone of this type are not priority for most phone techs so not much support, but file system and everything else should work in Bitpim. Let us know if it don't work for ya!
BitPim is a program that allows you to view and manipulate data on many CDMA your phone wont be listed so use chocolate 3.
You can transfer pictures but phone book names will be in a Chinese type of font so I would add contacts with the phone. hope this helps.

see ur problem is not much clear..frst tell me are u transferring music via bluetooth or cable...& whatever the thing ur using just check whether the drivers of that particular device are properly installed or not ..& do specify the error msg ur geting.

you can use any USB cable, there is nothing specific about any particular brand... now the computer has to recognize the phone. You need the software/driver.
