SOURCE: Playlist Trouble

Delete the track number from the ID3 tag to get around this problem. Make sure the GoGear is not set to shuffle - make sure the shuffle is OFF.

ok when your in the mp3s folder click on tools then folder options and then the view tab look down near the bottem of whats displayed and check the box show hidden files and folders and see if there are any files being hidden on the device if not then id say get the firmware and device manager for it and reformat it just keep the firmware and device manager handy so you can restore it if anything goes wrong after the format

I have a thump 512. Want to add music to the 25-5 MB (on average) songs on it in MP3 format, but when i drag new songs to it, it says it has no space left. I deleted a couple of songs, but that didn't

That's because no offence but it has rubbish memory. 25mb is nothing these days. Most songs are 9-15mb themselves these days, and so no wonder you have no space left.

My mp3 player won't download my music files

What you should try is backing up your unit, if there are songs from any other source on your player
other than the one main computer you use.

Determine whether the entire load is less than 2 GB and if so, then reformat your MP3 player to make
use of space from songs which, though deleted from your player, (such deletions only decapitate the
file header) still may occupy significant disk space which is at a premium on your player.

Totally reinstall your player and then load your music onto same, leaving some headroom (some portion
of 2 GB i.e. 100 to 500 MB) on your player to allow for streaming of your music, which will enhance your
enjoyment of same.

GPX ML648B mp3 player says it has 2GB memory (only shows 1888.59MB) but when I try to transfer songs it says there is only 70.34 MB free space available!!!!! I am only able to download 13 or so songs!!!!...

Plug it into your computer and open up widows media player. Click the synch tab and then you can look at the library in the player. It will also show you how much total memory and used memory.

Need help deleting songs from my Sony MP3 player

Try reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilities from the manufacturer?s website. Make sure that you back your music up first because when you do this you are setting it back to factory settings.

1 gb mp3 player not working

Same thing happened to me. I was using windows media player to sync my song and it says my player was using 260 mb of space even though it was formatted time after time. I simply loaded as many song as I could fit on the player. When I unplugged it and plugged it back in, windows media now showed that missing 260 mb of space as available. The only catch is that the song I had already uploaded on to the player were not shown on the sync list.

No space left even though all files deleted

format your player but make a back up of your music.
