SOURCE: want to replace caps which board is the DM board?

Once you take the shield assembly off, you will see a board, I believe it is the DM Board board. There are four Capacitors grouped together probably rated at 35v 1000 mfd, 105 degree. They should be replaced with 35v 680mfd,105 degree Capacitors. Now once that is done, there is another board under that one. This is the Format Board. It also has 4 Capacitors that should also be replaced. They are the same value as the first Board and should be replaced with the same 35v 680mfd, 105 degree Capacitors.
Please note the Flex connectors at the bottom of the DM and Format Boards. They may not be available from Mitsubishi any more so be gentle with them and make sure the are installed properly when reinstalling the Boards back into the chassis. There is one other Board you should look at. The Power Supply Board is the board on the back of the chassis and also has a number of Capacitors that fail. Most all of the Capacitors that fail through out this chassis will have bulging tops. So any you see bulging, you should replace whether they are on the DM, Format , or Power Supply.
I hope this helps,

How to replace the dm in wd-52525

The DM is the second board inside the Chassis block directly underneath the FMT board. But replacement DM boards if still good are very expensive your better off replacing the 4 capacitors that fail on the DM.

Mitsubishi dm baord repair

Repair for the dm board is to replace 30 smd caps. Smd caps are harder to replace than electolytic caps, unless you have great soldering skills, it's easy to break a trace. Might consider just replacing dm board.

We replaced the V26 dm repair kit and the problem still exists-tv won't turn on . What do you recommend?

Did you also replace the power capacitors on the power board. Usually the DM board and Power board caps together will cause the steady blinking led the DM caps alone only rarely cause the steady blinking led usually its a combination of both boards capoacitors failing.

Ws-55511 DM 5volts draged down blinking led

Hello,

Did you check the caps on the DM board? They usually go bad after a period of time. Remove the DM board and the metallic cover and there should be 4 to 7 capacitors (There are different revisions of the DM board). Check these caps also, replace if needed.

Thank you,

Dm board (power supply) for mitsubishi rear projection tv (ws-55807)

Good day,

mohiuddin;

If the indicator stays on then you may have an DM PCB problem and to correct this do the the folowing:

SYMPTOM: Power LED does not stop blinking after plug in.

CURE: replace C9B01, C9B02,C9B10, and C9B11 (1000 uFD 16V) on the DM PCB. Replace them with part # 181P734030 (680uFd 16V).

The DM Board (PCB) is located on the very left side of the TV looking from back. Caution on removing Board and note what cables you disconnect to access the Metal Shielded Board.
Good Luck, big IRISH.
