Cracked glass My Garmin fell from the window and the glass cracked.  I cant find anyone to repair it.  Any suggestions

I'm halfway down replacing my cracked glass. With a sharp fine knife with rounded tip it was easy to lift slowly and gently the original glass from its seat. Working from the outside only. Not opening at all the GPS unit. Then removed the remainders of the adhesive tape. The cell phone shop around the corner had plenty replacement glasses. He gave me a Samsung which had proper width already and was slightly to tall. With a file a trimmed it to almost exact shape. I intend to place using aquarium silicone glue. Should do it.

Sorry to hear your cook top is cracked. Unfortunately it cannot be properly sealed like a car window. Here is your part#74010843. This is a pretty pricey part and I suggest you use a professional on this repair who will warranty their work in case the glass is cracked again. Furthermore, there are a lot of pieces to take apart and fit back in.
Side note* Be sure to check you owners manual sometimes you can get factory service repaired covered more than just the first year. If the cooktop glass had a bubble or imperfection that could have caused your crack to begin with.

You can buy a new C330 now for $125 - $175. It would probably cost that much to repair the old one, I would replace it.

If they don't give you a new one under warranty, are third party Garmin repair services that will fix it for cheap. Also, I found an DYI GPS repair guide,so you can do it yourself too, not that difficult.

Are you kidding? A camera lens are a group of various lenses inside. I don't think it's repairable, but I'd say take it to a local photography store and you can get free advice. I think I understood you, but anyone would have to see the damage in person. From here, I'd say you are in bad luck...it's a goner. Also cameras are not designed to take a big fall like that. There is probably more damage than just the lenses.

Given the cost of buying a new LCD with touchscreen is about $130 USD + shipping. Your best solution is to sell the existing unit and buy a new Nuvi or recondition C330.

Garmin will repair the unit for $150 and provide the lastest update and map.

If you're handy with small tools, you can make a new screen using Lexan, a Dremel tool to shape it, and then glue it into place. You'll have to dismantle the unit first to get the broken screen out.

Either that, or send it in to Garmin for replacement.
