Generally a screen defect.

You can attempt to reconnect the cables going from the system board to the LCD by removing the screws on the bottom for the Keyboard, Palm rest, and bezel. The system board connection is hard to miss, usually centered near the top on Lenovo's.

Sorry to say that this is an indication that the LCD display is failing in that one line. It doesn't
mean that other parts of the display will fail. It may work this way for years to come. Unless it is really annoying or covers more than one single line, such as an inch or so, it isn't something that will cause damage to your laptop. I wouldn't go to the expense of replacing the LCD over one line.

it may be the actual video cable going from the board to the screen which would make sense if you've had to have the screen replaced 3 times. the cable may have come loose, or it may have gotten damaged during one of the transplants. unfortunately the only way to test it is to either put it in an identical laptop or try a new one.

Few days back suddenly i found that a green vertical line appeared on my lenovo laptop and it still appearing on the screen whenever i open the laptop. please tell me how can i get rid of it...........

This is a fault with the display driver. The only possiblity is to check if there is any loose connection in the lines leading from the mainboard to the display through the hinges.
If by checking the line disappears then the fault is confirmed as this harness can be defective.
otherwise the drive IC can be faulty.

Hi:
I believe that your LCD panel is the problem, but you should verify that you have good video, by toggling to an external monitor to check your output. If it dispays good, you have an LCD problem.

I have a casio exilim ex-z1080 and whenever i take a photo there are vertical lines on the screen, it has only just happened and even when we download the photos they are showing up with vertical lines on...

Are the vertical lines on the images when you view them on screen, or only after you print them on a laser printer of some kind.
If the lines are on screen, your issue is in the device sensor.
If the lines are on printed images, try aligning your print heads (use your printer utilities whenever you replace an ink cartridge), or take the images to a kiosk (Kodak and others have those at verious retail outlets).
Good luck!

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the video drivers. If this doesn't work, it's likely that the LCD control board or cable is damaged.
