Generally a screen defect.
You can attempt to reconnect the cables going from the system board to the LCD by removing the screws on the bottom for the Keyboard, Palm rest, and bezel. The system board connection is hard to miss, usually centered near the top on Lenovo's.

Sorry to say that this is an indication that the LCD display is failing in that one line. It doesn't
mean that other parts of the display will fail. It may work this way for years to come. Unless it is really annoying or covers more than one single line, such as an inch or so, it isn't something that will cause damage to your laptop. I wouldn't go to the expense of replacing the LCD over one line.

it may be the actual video cable going from the board to the screen which would make sense if you've had to have the screen replaced 3 times. the cable may have come loose, or it may have gotten damaged during one of the transplants. unfortunately the only way to test it is to either put it in an identical laptop or try a new one.
