SOURCE: unable to login to laptop due to forgotten login password
First thing you can try is:
1: When booting up the laptop Press F8 until you see a screen show that has an option to boot in "Safe Mode"
2: Once it has finished booting up you can Select Administrator and hopefully there is no password set.
3: If there is no password set then login as Administrator and goto "Control Panel", Select User Accounts and change your daughter's password to something she wont forget ;p

If you can still login to your Email, change the password. Keep a strong password, which includes numbers, special characters, upper and lower case characters, e.g. s@muel!@9186.
If you are unable to login, click on forgot your password on the login page and try to reset it.
If you are unable to reset it, get in touch with the support of the Email service provider. e.g. [email protected].
