Picture freezes or breaks up - LN Samsung Televison & Video

Constantly? Once in a while? If it does it without ever working, it sounds like the tuner is bad. I would not try servicing anything inside the TV. They're just not made for that anymore. I did it for 20 years. You could connect an external antenna, doing the scan, and see it if works that way to rule out a cable problem, or having the cable co. check the dBmv level.

Have you tried cleaning the lens?

Ur Tuner board have problems,it dying.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish Tuner board for the replacement.

The freeze ups normally happen before the red lights of doom and they are caused by the GPU and the CPU getting too hot and the soldering snaps off so they lose connection.

If you stop the heat build up you will be fine.

Because you are receiving digital transmissions, if the signal is too weak your picture will break up and pixilate. In the days of analougue you would just get a snowy picture. If you are getting the channels, you might want to consider investing in a booster and a digital antenna. Install the booster as near to the antenna as possible to get the best out of it.

The breaking up and fezzing is only due to a weak signal. The only fix if you are not using it is an outdoor antenna. Please take a moment to rate my answer. Thanks..

if the picture keeps breaking up and pixelating it is normally a reception issue rather than a problem with the tv.

The bottom is blurry because some of the anti-freeze (clear ethelyne glycol) has leaked out. This anit freeze needs to be replaced or the CRT will get too hot and break. It will also clear up the picture.
