My opinion is hard drive has faulty sector and possibly an increasing number of them. If it's under warranty I would have the HDD replaced. If not under warranty you can try to go to the HDD manufacturers site and download the HDD utility software. There will be a low level format utility. This will mark bad sectors during the format process, if you keep getting more bad sectors when you try to reload OS your drive is toast...toast...toast... -Good luck

After you test the memory, you should test your hard drive with a utility downloaded from the manufacturer's website. DFT from Hitachi works with other drives also http://www.hitachigst.com/hdd/support/download.htm#DFT If you press F8 repeatedly while the computer is booting you should get an option to disable automatic restart. This should then leave you with a blue screen error message which may provide more information. Did you instal the operating system while the computer was connected to the internet?

Ask for geniune microsoft software

Dear Sir,

Favorably, to a date before microsoft installed this together with an update.
Then don't install this a MS Spyware again!

But wait, If you are using a genuine MS operating system there's no reason to remove this slight annoyance...

Buy a legit OS or try Linux instead to avoid further problems...

Not Installing XP SP3 Updates Given By Microsoft KB 936929.

if you don't want to install those updates you should have switch off your automatic updates. the problem is the your computer might not be compaitble with the update which was sent to you.XP SP3 have a higher system and hardware requirements than xp sp2. in order to resolve your problem you need to run your xp sp2 and press repair instead of format in this way it can return to your original system. you can also try the system restore press the start, all programs look for the system tools then system restore check what date you installed this sp3 then select the day before you installed this in order for you to return to your original operating system. hoping that this will help you, expecting your positive response.
