You need a special tool to adjust the mixture screws, i have to say they are not easy to tune, you will also need a rev counter to set the high revs, it is very difficult to give basic settings for the carb as they vary greatly

SOURCE: husqvarna chain saw stalls

hi charlier 421

I think the small holes from the Venturi wall of the carb are clogged. To clean them you need carb disassembly.Near the needle there is a tehnological cover, under the diafragm(fuel pump).Taking off it you will see some small holes maiking conection with Venturi wall.Used ompresed air to clean them.

Husqvarna 235 chainsaw wont run

Check fuel supply, proper plug (resistor) compression 120 to 145 lbs. If saw will not run have the ignition tested with a 3-point spark tester.

What is the longest bar &chain i can put on my husqvarna 235

if you tighten the panel for the bar and chain too tight it pulls the bolts out slightly out of the chassis of the body. that is why it isnt oiling properly. i had a 235 and that is what happened to mine. what you could do is file down the raised plastic where the bolts enter the body and that might help.

What are the carburetorr pin settings for a 334t tree saw

hi there

the base settings for hi and lo are 1 & 1/4 turn out from lightly seated

but make the hi setting just a fracrtion richer at top speed no load it should putter or 4 stroke slightly and the lo one should be about right buyt should pick off nicly when you stab the throttle quickly with no hesitation

note do not sett hi mixture setting to lean 2 top nol load or when you place it under lood it will lean out further and destroy the piston and rings
