I have 1998 ford f150 5.4 bio fuel 2 wheel drive automatic truck I was going down the road and without any warning it stopped moving it goes into all gears but does not move what do you think the problem is

That sounds like the linkage (at the transmission end) has broken or loosened. Crawl underneath (wheels chocked) and watch closely while someone else shifts back & forth - you'll see the linkage move at the transmission end, and you should see how to correct the problem.

One of the wires to the sensor is touching a ground. It may be getting pinched

Get the code pulled from the cars computer. It will tell you why the check engine light came on.

The first one is over drive and the second is drive. It is best to just use overdrive when on the parkway and drive on slower back roads when there is hills and stop and go traffic. Overdrive is a higher gear.

Any time there is a code that says "too lean" then that means there is not enough fuel that is going into the cylinder to make it combust. This is very dangerous to the engine! There are a few things that cause this. (1) The fuel injectors are clogged and need to be cleaned or replaced. (2) the fuel pump is starting to die and needs to be replaced. The best thing to do is get fuel injection cleaner and put it in the gas tank when you fill up and see if that helps. If it still persists then replacing the injectors would be the best way to go next. I hope this gives you a better idea what to do!

no need to pull down your defferential

With a diesel I'd have to look in to the fuel system. I'd check the pump first. I know from personal experience when a fuel pump dies on a fuel injected engine there is no warning... like someone reached over a turned the key off.
