Power button just flashes will no turn off AND nothing on the screen

On and off button flashes nothing else will not turn off light just flashes nothing on the screen

On back of the computer is a on off switch for the power supply, or unplug the computer for one minute. Turn the switch back on, or plug the computer back in and try to turn it on.

Well, if you are talking about the power button on the monitor, then your computer is off, or the connection from the computer to the monitor might be loose. I'm assuming you are trying to use the computer, and the monitor button is flashing. The monitor(screen) button usually is green if the connection is good. If it is another color, then check that the cable is not loose. Re-plug the cable into the monitor and the computer, and try again.

that is a failed POST: Power On Self Test. Could be a loose memory chip, or could be bad video card or bad video chip.

Try this to see if can give us some codes with it's on board diagnostics. Hold down the function button of your laptop and then the power button while still holding down the Fn/Function button on the left side of the keyboard. See if this gives you either an error message on your screen or, flashing lights above your keyboard. Pay attention, write down what lights where lit up what ones flashed, etc. This is to diagnose if the LCD isn't working. Comment back if you get either the light code or the error code on the screen. IF nothing happens try holding the Fn/Function button on the left side of keyboard and holding the F4 button, see if that makes any lights flash above your keyboard.

Since it sounds like an issue with the Power first try to release flea power.Disconnect the charger,remove battery,press and hold down the power button for 30 seconds.Reconnect the battery and charger.Turn on system and check if it turns on. For further help please check Dell Inspiron 1525 Manual. Also confirm if the light on the charger stays on,when connected to the system.

Press power, buttons light up and thats it

Try pressing the clean cell now button & check pre filter button at the same time hold buttons down at the same time for about 5 seconds with the air cleaner turned of and blue screen lit

Count the number of flashes for the red power button. I'm not a Hitachi owner, but you can track one down here on fixya and they''ll give you more info. One of the internal components have failed and is keeping the power supply unit from firing up. Do you hear a relay click when you try to turn it on? If so, how many times does it try to fire up?

When i try to turn it on the power button flashes a code. The power button lights up once for a second, then turns off, then flashes quickly nine times and lights up once again for a second before turning off. The screen doesnt turn on at all, nor do the speakers. Any help would be highly appreciated.
