Try disconnecting all of your HDMI cables and plugging the power cord of the TV into another wall outlet. If this resolves the issue, you may have had a small power surge from either your wall outlet or one of your source devices. It is recommended to connect your TV to a surge protector if you haven't done so already.

SOURCE: My son dropped my 32'' inch LG lcd tv now it won't

It probably has a cracked circuit board. If you want to repair it on your own open it up and see if you can find where that cracked section is and see if you can resolder it back properly.

hi the problem with your tv is with in button key controller board, here are the ways on how are you going to fix the problem.

  • open the back cover of your tv with the use of philip screw driver to gain access the button controller.
  • remove the connector and then detached the controller board, spray the channel up/down button with a electronic contact cleaner to have good contact.
  • if the buttons are worn out you can replace only the buttons just buy at any electronics store, you can also buy or replace the whole button key controller if you want. there are sites in an internet which provide button key controller for tv like for example you can inquire here.
  • now after you replace with new button controller reinstall the connector fix it not to loose and then placed the back cover of the tv unit and screw it.
  • plug the power cord then turn on the unit. good luck i hope it will help you.

SOURCE: tv won't switch to "tv"

Your T.V. is programmed to store the last input you've selected. You have to manually switch it back to your T.V. channel input after each time you switch it to HDMI or any other input even when you turn it off. The "Source" or "Input" button on your original T.V. remote will change this.

My Panasonic Viera Tc-p55gt31 has no picture and no sound

One of the circuit boards has a burnt connection. Look around each of the heat sinks to find the popped plastic circuit. You can also dismount the board and look on the bottom for a burnt mark. Check the number of blinks from the LED. That will tell you which board is bad.

My JVC flat screen won't turn on, tried unplugging and resetting. Stand-by light is still on. And it's attached to a surge protector than to the wall. I've only had this for 1 year.

More than likely its bad capacitors on the Power supply very common problem with most models. You can get repair kits or replacement power boards from www.tvrepairworld.com

"LOC". As I turn the dial to the requested setting, all the times (15min. 55 min., etc.) are displayed, but as I go to push the 'start' button, the screen says, "LOC",...

Hi, "LOC" indicates that the control panel settings are locked. Press the SELECT and OPTION button simultaneously to toggle this 'feature' on or off. Hope this helps.

Flat scren wont turn on

Try a power drain:
1. Unplug the TV's power cable so that the TV is not grounded to the house.  Do not simply turn off a powerbar if one is in use. 2. Press and HOLD the TV's own power button for one minute to drain the internal capacitors. 3. Plug the TV back into a wall outlet versus a powerbar, if one is in use and see if this makes a difference.
If the TV does not turn on, are you able to see any indication from an internal LED light in the back of the TV?  If not, the problem is usually with the power supply. If you do see a LED light anywhere, then you know the TV is getting power but the TV's mainboard is at fault.  In either case service would be required if the power drain does not resolve this.
