My motherboard is QDI Advance 10T and at her homepage it says that suports :Three 168-pin 3.3V PC133 DIMM sockets
Support up to 1.5GB SDRAM
Support 66/100/133MHz Synchronous DRAM and 66MHz EDO DRAM .
I have 1 ram 64 Mb PC100 and 1 ram 128 Mb PC100.May I use another SDRAM of 512Mb PC 133 together with them.Is it possible that I have 704 Mb Ram without causing a hardware conflict?

Types of sdram

PC66 SDRAM
PC66 SDRAM is the original module speed of SDRAM. PC66 SDRAM was the earliest version of SDRAM and therefore came in a number of smaller megabyte sizes than later versions. Most early motherboards were rated for PC66 SDRAM. The available sizes are 32MB (megabytes), 64MB and 128MB.
PC100 SDRAM

PC100 SDRAM was released after PC66 SDRAM and runs at a higher speed. It has the same number of pins as the earlier memory module and is capable of utilizing the same RAM slot. The only difference when installing this SDRAM in compatible computers with older systems (PC66 slots) is that the SDRAM will run at a slower speed. PC100 RAM comes in sizes such as 32MB, 64MB, 128MB, 256MB and 512MB.
PC133 SDRAM

The last generation of SDRAM is PC133. The PC133 memory provided a speed upgrade and comes in larger sizes than previous generations of SDRAM. PC133 modules are backward compatible with older SDRAM slots. The PC133 memory, however, will be forced to run at the slot's slower bus speed (PC66 or PC100). The memory comes in sizes like 128MB, 256MB, 512MB and 1024MB.

My QDI advance 9 doesnt accept 256 mb pc133, i have single and duo sidded 256 mb pc133 and the maximum it gives to me is 128 mb per slot.

Go to this link http://www.epinions.com/S0478496-Advance_9/display_~full_specs
It shows that the Max Memory that it supports is 768mb, It is possible that the memory doesn't want to work together.

Try putting them in, leaving a slot open in the middle. Duo module in slot 0 and single in slot 1.
If doesn't work try the opposite way around.

your timely rating of this soloution is much appreciated.
Thanks

Not reading the correct memory

Well, depending on what your ram and how much you have installed. This motherboard only supports up to 1gig max.

Memory * 2 x 168-pin SDRAM DIMM
* Maximum 1.0GB
* PC133
No matter how much more ram you install, it will not read more than 1gig.

QDI Group QDI Advance 6T Motherboard memory

make sure you are putting in the correct ram and make sure both are in good, may be registering only one, or maybe one is bad. try them one at a time in each different slot. should tell you if both chips/slots work

How can i know if a ram suits my Legend QDI

you got to options

1. following the indications of your motherboard documentation (recommended/best), if you need to find out details about your motherboard you can possibly download and use one of this tools to get info about your motherboard and possibly find the manual online in the manufacturer's website

2. the following page will check your system to find out what memory you have and what you need and up to how much you can go http://www.crucial.com/promo/index.aspx?prog=uslp_intel_fbdimm

3. checking on ebay: in the following links indicates that it should be low density:
Module Size: 512MB
PC133 SDRAM
UNBUFFERED
Non-Ecc
168 pins
3.3 Volt
Structure: 64Mx64=512M
Low Density: 2 Banks of 32Mx8
SPEED: 133MHz
CAS Latency: CL3

hope this helps
