I just purchased a Samsung SGH-C417 cell phone. Everything works great on the phone EXCEPT for the fact that I have to essentially scream into the phone for callers to hear me. Everyone that has called my phone has told me that they can barely hear me even when I am screaming into the phone. I can hear my callers just fine they just can't hear me for some reason. I hate to have to get rid of this phone but I am really getting aggrevated with having to scream so callers can hear me. Do you have any idea as to why I am having this problem with this phone? I have all of my sound settings volume buttons turned up to the max. Please help.

Not sure if its the same problem but i had that with a different model and was told when i placed the charger in the phone it moved the mic slightly and thats why it was not working as it should i used my hands free every time i made a call mine was so bad ..it was a manufacture fault so i was lucky and had the phone changed free !!! hope this helps

try with ur handsfree that u got with phone or replce ur mic or clean the hole near ur swich side from where u speak. reply me

Took my Nokia to a company (market stall) cost me £15 for new mic installed, seems to work fine now
