Cannot open USB with SVOLBRO encryption - I have the password

What make and model is your router?
You usually have to select an encryption type, such as WEP or WPA before the password widow opens.

If you encrypted it and lost the password you can't It's a one way encryption with no recovery process unfortunately

I met the same trouble, i just reset acer password by the following steps,
Step1.Download Smartkey Windows Password Recovery from recoverlostpassword.com anddecompress it on that PC. There is a .ISO file. Burn the .ISO file to CD or USBFlash Driver.Step2.Get out the newly created CDor USB Flash Driver and insert it to the locked computer.Step3. Re-boot the locked computerand then follow the process of instructions. Just after a few steps, the oldpassword will be removed.It can recover all Windows version.

Iomega Utility are not Specific to the current device.

My iomega ego external hard disk was working properly but when i connected it today the encryption utility show that-Iomega Utility are not Specific to the current device and no any area shown to type password. My drive contains lots of valuable data. How can I acess into my drive. But the virtual drive is shown.

Your hard drive encrypts all the data put on it, so you need a password to access it. If you haven't changed anything, the default password should be just the word "password" I would recommend changing that as soon as you get into the drive. There should be a very obvious option in the program once you enter the password for the first time.

Encrypt Individual Files and Folders on a Flash Drive
1. Step 1 Choose "Tools" from the menu bar at the top of the program, such as Microsoft Word, and pick "Options."
   
2. Step 2 Select "Security" from the many tabs displayed in the new popup window. Create a password in the "Password to Open" or "Password to Modify" section and click "OK" at the bottom of the box.
   
3. Step 3 Confirm your password when prompted. Drag the password protected files to your flash drive. To open a protected file, enter password when prompted. Remember, passwords are case sensitive.

5. Step 2 Install Cryptainer Mobile when the Cryptainer LE installation is complete. Select "Tools" on the menu bar at the top of your screen. Select "Install Cryptainer Mobile" and follow the prompts. The Mobile version comes with the LE download.
   
6. Step 3 Close the LE version on your desktop. Select a location and meaningful password for the Mobile version. To protect important files and folders, drag and drop them into the vault, the location of the encrypted files.
   

If you use the utility that comes with the drive, you will be able to access all of your files and folders that you encrypt on the drive privided that you don't forget your password. If you want to make sure that the drive is protable (can be used on multiple systems), you need to make sure you enable Travel Mode with the Seagate Manager software. You must remember the password in order to access your files.

I was fumbling around with this as well. I found a manual on my external drive itself. I had to read through it carefully before i saw a small note.

Note: After you open your Encryption folder on the first computer and user account with which
you use Seagate Manager, it will be saved on that computer so that will never need to
enter it again. When opening your Encryption folder from another computer or user
account, however, you will need to enter your password.

I have yet to test it by creating another user account, then attempting to access the files. I am confident that this is the answer.

I Posted a solution to this prob but i don't see it anymore. Your ext drive is Encrypting your folder. It just knows you're the one using it. If I took it and plugged it in to my computer, it would recognize my user name as t0mthab0mb and prompt me for the password. Try it. Create a different user account on your computer, then try to access the encryption folder from the new account.
