To properly set up the WN3000RP you first have to push the WPS or Push 'N' Connect button on the router-WN2500RP(on the back of the router between the reset and the wired connection slots) and then the Push 'N' Connect button on the extender. It should negotiate and establish a connection between them.

Locate WPS button on FWAG114

Thanks for posting to Fixya!

According to the manual I found at the following link;

WPS is not supported on this router. However, my suggestion would be to reset the WN2500 to default with the reset and start fresh, using the manual setup. You can find the help you need here;

HOW DO I CONNECT MY EXTENDER THROUGH WIFI

It need to be wire connected to another router, once it has an IP you can access the device with a web browser and configure wireless access pretty much with the same information as your actual wireless access point, same network ID and key.
