If you wish to buy it's original remote control, just contact the authorized service center for Thomson.
To select a universal remote control, make sure about the set up codes for t Thomson, and buy a remote control of that brand, from open electronics spare part market. Refer the sites linked here for more details about the codes.

The display or wireing may be broken if everything else is working fine.

with the guide of the service manual you can replace the screen if it is the only problem in the device.

Unfortunately you must sent the machine to a service. Probably the transistor that drives grinder is damaged.

there will be no service manual as thompson does not provide them.-Its a throwaway set.

On the inside of the TV it had the name Thomson on a label. I looked for the schematic using RCA / Thomson with the RCA model # and I found the schematic and service manual under Thomson.
