Gave tablet as Christmas gift, just returned to me. Recipient said it was locked on to the Android logo. I have charged it to see what it is doing and it will not power on at all, charged over 24 hours, still nothing at all.

Return it to the place you bought it from and ask them to replace it because it could be a factory fault and it passed them by without noticeing it had a problem

You may have to reset it. let if charge for about 24hrs, 10hrs may work fine too and With the device turned off, press and hold the volume down button, and then briefly press the power button. - Wait for the screen with the three Android images to appear, and then release the volume down button. - Press volume down to select clear storage, and then press power. - Press volume up to start the factory reset.
Yes, all products that you buy have to be "fit for use". The 3 R's apply, repair, replace or refund. Under consumer rights law, they have to do this. Make sure you bring all packaging and receipts with you and speak to the shop manager. If you get no joy (they have to, by law, help you) report it to head office.
I bought a kurio 7 thinking it'll be a great Christmas gift but its worthless if it wont charge...Ive read the DC plug doesnt seat well and so you have to put it in firmly...did that. It came outta the box with an 88% charge and is now down to 32%. Then I read you could use the USB to charge...trying that but not hopeful. ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS? I NEED TO CHARGE THIS THING.
