Do not know how to reset watch after changing Battery

I have had the battery replaced in my Arnette watch (AR00901). All the digits are now showing and I can not get the watch to work.

I have been told the watch needs reset but I do not know either which buttons to press or how to do this.

I really like my watch and would love to sort this

SOURCE: Arnette Digital Watch

So My arnette digital wrist watch was going off every 5 minutes. I hit the Mode, Reset, and St/STP buttons at the same time out of frustration, and it seemed to turn my alarm off.

SOURCE: I have an arnette digital watch, which beeps on

I have an Arnette watch as well and have long lost its manual. The model of my watch is AR 2201. Before it didn't beep, but after my move (where the watch must have been bouncing around a lot), it started to on the hour, EVERY HOUR. It has been driving me crazy. Hopefully this will help you, though the answer comes so late. For my watch, I pressed the ST/STP and RESET buttons (which both happen to be on the right side of the face) simultaneously. The watch beeped when I did this and I saw the little bell icon disappear! Good luck with yours.

My g shock ga 100 keeps resetting itself back to 12:00 and the analog doesn't stay synced to the digital i have had a new battery fitted and it still doesn't work any suggestions ??

Hi,
Did you take your Casio to a pro or it was just a normal battery replacement service?.

I am asking because if a pro did it seems he forgot to reset your Casio watch when battery was replaced.
This is a must when you change battery on a Casio digital watch.

Take it again and ask for a complete reset, if they know what they are doing they will do as you ask without questioning.

Blank displayI have tried to reset this with no success Any ideas will be gratefully welcome

Have you considered that a dead battery might be the cause of this. They don't last longer than a year. I would not attempt to change the battery on your own if you would miss this watch if you broke it. I change batteries nearly everyday and the digital ones are by far the most difficult. If you did change the battery on your own already the reason it is not working is because you negated to short the battery. Digital watches sometimes need to be shorted after a battery replacement to turn back on take a pair of metal tweezers and put one end on the positive side of the battery. Look for a little hole with a contact on it that's either A/C or reset. Put the other end of the tweezers here. If that doesn't work a tiny spring feel out of the watch is not replaceable and you must therefore replace the watch if that is the case. Hope this helps.

Polar AXN300 Heart Rate Monitor Watch HRM AXN300 is not showing pulse

I would think it is the sensor circuit in the watch. When you replaced the battery did you activate the processor all reset for the watch? I do not know on your model where or how this would be activated.

Electronic watches normally have a reset procedure for when the battery is changed. Very important the watch's processor reset is performed after changing the battery. This is not any of the user readings reset. This is a reset for the watch's processor and system. It is sometimes a contact that has to be shorted out with the jeweler's screwdriver, or it is a contact that has to be shunted, or etc., depending on the model. Maybe if you call the support for the watch they will tell you this. Normally they do not like the user opening the watch.
