I am using the Pinger ex app on my iPod touch 3rd gen. I have two out of three friends who I do not receive pic messages from. Friend 1 has a Galaxy s3 with a sprint service provider. Friend 2 has a RAZR X M with verizion. Friend 3 has a Samsung galaxy from verizion as well. I receive pic messages from friend 3, but not friends 1 and 2. Why is this? (Side note; All three of them recieve pic messages when I send them.

yes you can if you Jailbreak your device. You can download games legally with the iTunes market. But it costs money, and why pay for angry birds? or other games you can get for FREE!?... I can teach you how to get free stuff with a little friend I call Redsn0w...
You download "Redsn0w" (just Google it) and you find the version if your ipod touch in your settings menu. Download the proper version of "Redsn0w" compatible with your ipod. Run the program and Follow the instructions. Voila!!! the door to free stuff!! Games, APPS, themes, programs, and other goodies!
If its not letting you log into your WiFi the power cycle your Wireless Router (take out power for 10 seconds, put back in power) and then try and connect again.
If that doesn't work, restart your iPod. Last and least, this will most likely be the issue (Rather Common) - Update the Wireless Routers firmware to a recent version.
to update your ipod touch second gen to 4.1 version you must connect to your itunes account on your computer with ipod attatched sync all apps, music, videos, everything because it will delete everything and needs everything backed up. then go to your ipod on itunes and it will say update, click it it will take around half an hour to update and restore you ipod fully. This worked for my ipod touch gen 2, it kept saying when i tried to update i still have things on my ipod not synced to itunes when i have synced multiple times but it updated ok and i do not notice anything missing. this is all i know about this i hope it helps.
Upgrade your iTunes version (is your error message your iPod is not elligible for the requested build?). Restoring it with the latest iTunes will download the right firmware and the message will disappear. If it doesn't work with the latest itunes, you may have a broken logic board. If you're out of warranty, somebody has to open the iPod classic and replace the logic board. The part is available on ebay. Here's a guide on how to disassemble an iPod classic. Maybe a tech savy friend can do it for you. If you want to pay to have somebody do it for you there are third partyiPod Repair Services.
I tried different computers and cords... I ended up opening iTunes
without the iPod and going under Help/Run Diagnostics. I selected to
run diagnostics on just the iPod, an error message came up and then it
worked. I'm not sure HOW it worked, but it did.
