I have a Black & Decker MM875 Lawn Hog 19-Inch 12 amp Electric lawn mower that no longer starts. I have a feeling it is the starter in the handle. Is this easy to repair myself?

The rectifier is a flat plate with 4 posts that attach the electric wiring inside. You will need a flathead screwdriver to remove the four screws holding down the cover on your mower. on top where all the wires run (you will probably see one burned) There is a screw in the middle holding down the plate, you will need to replace the plate and resplice the wires that may be burned.

did you sharpened the blade. checked the blade if not installed reverse.B&D clean the blade. info in the blade say's facing the grass
